Glofish Danios (Assorted)

GloFish Danio: Genetically modified variations that display bright, fluorescent colors under blue LED lights. 

Starfire Red, Electric Green, and Cosmic Blue. 

Danios are small, highly energetic, freshwater fish belonging to the family Danionidae. Native to South and Southeast Asia, they are among the hardiest and most popular species in the aquarium hobby. They are famous for their constant, rapid swimming and their peaceful, social nature.

Schooling Size: Must be kept in groups of 6 or more to ensure they feel safe and behave naturally.

Tank Size: A minimum of 15 to 20 gallons (60–90 liters) due to their high activity levels.

Water Parameters: Prefer a pH level between 7.0 and 7.8.

Tank Setup: Require a tight-fitting lid because they are expert jumpers. They enjoy moderate water flow to mimic their native streams.

Diet and Compatibility.

Diet: Omnivorous surface feeders that readily accept high-quality flakes, micro-pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp.

Compatibility: Ideal for community tanks with other peaceful, fast-moving fish. Avoid housing them with slow, long-finned fish like bettas or guppies, as danios can occasionally nip trailing fins.
