Rainbow Shark XXL 8-9CM

A Rainbow Shark at 8–9 cm is a sub-adult or growing adolescent (max size 15 cm). It needs a minimum 120-liter tank, warm water (24–27°C), and hiding caves. At this size, it becomes increasingly territorial and semi-aggressive toward bottom-dwellers.

Care and Requirements

Tank Size: 120 to 200 liters minimum for a single specimen.

Water Parameters: pH 6.5–7.5, temperature 24–27°C (75–80°F).

Diet: Omnivorous; loves sinking pellets, algae wafers, frozen bloodworms, and blanched vegetables.

Behavior: Active bottom-dweller with a bold, territorial attitude.
