This is a marketing mistake.If you submerge this plant completely in a fish tank, it will look healthy for a few weeks or months because its leathery leaves hold their shape well. However, it cannot breathe underwater. It will slowly stop growing, suffocate, and decay.If you want to use it with water features, it must be grown emersed (roots in the water/wet soil, foliage completely in the air) in a terrarium, paludarium, pond edge, or riparium setup.
