Albino Rainbow Shark XXL 8-9CM

An Albino Rainbow Shark (Epalzeorhynchos frenatum) at an XXL size of 8–9 cm is a sub-adult to nearly full-sized freshwater bottom-dweller. It features a striking creamy-white to pale pink body, glowing red eyes, and vivid orange-red fins, making it a bold, active display fish that requires a minimum 50-to-55 gallon aquarium due to its territorial nature.

Care and Requirements

Tank Size: 55 gallons (approx. 200 liters) or larger to reduce aggression.

Water Parameters: Temperature 72–79°F (22–26°C), pH 6.5–7.5.

Temperament: Semi-aggressive and fiercely territorial, especially toward other bottom-dwellers or another rainbow shark.

Diet: Omnivorous; feed sinking pellets, algae wafers, frozen foods like bloodworms, and blanched vegetables.

Tank Setup: Provide plenty of caves, driftwood, and rocky hiding spots.
