TetraMedica ContraIck Plus 20ml is a highly effective, fast-acting medicinal treatment designed for freshwater ornamental fish suffering from white spot disease (Ich / Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) and other external skin and gill parasites like Trichodina, Chilodonella, and Costia. A single 20ml bottle contains a concentrated formula capable of treating between 400 to 600 liters of aquarium water.
⚠️ Critical Safety Warnings
Invertebrates: This medication is not safe for snails, shrimp, crabs, or any other invertebrates. Remove them before starting.
Aquarium Plants: It is unsafe for fine-leaved or delicate plant species such as hornwort.

Full 8-Day Step-by-Step Dosing Guide
Always treat your fish in their primary, fully stocked aquarium. This ensures that any free-floating parasites in the water are destroyed and prevents healthy fish from becoming infected later.
Tank Preparation (Before Day 1)
Shake the medication bottle thoroughly before each use.
Turn off all UV clarifiers, UV sterilizers, and ozone systems.
Remove activated carbon, chemical resins, or any other absorbent media from your filter.
Clean your mechanical filter components properly to maximize water flow and oxygenation.
Increase aeration by adding an air stone or turning up your air pump, as medication lowers oxygen levels.
The Treatment Schedule
Day 1: Add 20 drops (1 ml) per 100 liters of water. Disperse it evenly. Do not feed your fish today.
Day 2: Add another 20 drops (1 ml) per 100 liters. Do not feed your fish today.
Days 3 to 6: Do not add any medication. Resume normal feeding patterns.

Post-Treatment Care
After completing the water change on Day 8, reinsert fresh activated carbon into your filter to pull the remaining medication out of the water. The temporary blue or green water tint is caused by the active ingredients and will fade completely within a few days.
