TetraMedica FungiStop Plus 20ml

TetraMedica FungiStop Plus 20ml is a highly effective remedy for freshwater ornamental fish designed to eliminate external fungal infections, egg mold (spawn fungus), external bacterial diseases, and mouth rot. A single 20ml bottle can treat a tank volume up to 300 to 400 liters.

⚠️ Critical Tank Warnings

Invertebrates: Not safe for snails, shrimp, or other invertebrates. Remove them before starting treatment.

Plants: Can harm fine-leaved or delicate aquarium plants, such as hornwort.

Stocking: Keep all fish inside the tank during treatment to prevent free-floating pathogens from infecting healthy animals.

Full 8-Day Treatment Schedule

You must follow the standard 8-day cycle exactly as outlined by Tetra:

Day 1: Add 60 drops (3 ml) per 100 liters of water. Do not feed your fish.

Day 2: Add 30 drops (1.5 ml) per 100 liters of water. Do not feed your fish.

Days 3 to 6: Do not add any medicine. Feed your fish normally.

Day 7: Add 60 drops (3 ml) per 100 liters of water. Do not feed your fish.

Day 8: Do not add any medicine. Feed your fish normally. Perform a 30% to 50% partial water change.

Required Tank Setup Changes

Before you add the very first drop into your aquarium, make sure to adjust your equipment setup:

Turn off UV clarifiers and ozone systems, as they destroy the active medication.

Remove activated carbon or any other chemical absorbent filter media.

Clean the filter thoroughly without destroying your biological bacteria colony.

Increase aeration by running an air pump or air stone to maximize oxygen levels.

Post-Treatment Tips

Water Color: The medication will temporarily tint your water green/blue. This is normal and fades over time.

Carbon Filtration: After doing the large water change on Day 8, put fresh activated carbon back into your filter to pull out the remaining residue.
