Step-by-Step Planting Guide

You can plant these seeds using either a dry-start method or a fully submerged method.

Method 1: The Dry-Start Method (Recommended for Aquascaping)

Prepare Substrate: Layer your aquarium bottom with aqua soil, wet sand, or gravel mixed with a base fertilizer.

Scatter Seeds: Evenly sprinkle the hairgrass seeds across the damp soil. Space them out cleanly; grouping too many together stunts growth.
