Planted Tank Layering: Sand itself does not contain nutrients. If you plan to grow heavy-rooting plants, cap this red sand over a specialized aqua soil or use root fertilizer tabs underneath.

Avoid Deep Compaction: Try to keep the sand bed thickness around 3–5 cm to prevent anaerobic (oxygen-starved) pockets from developing over time.
