Important Care Facts

Salinity Changes: Juveniles often hatch in freshwater rivers. As they mature, they must slowly transition to brackish water and eventually full saltwater for long-term health.

Schooling Behavior: You must keep them in a group of 5 or more. If kept alone, they become highly stressed, lose their color, and hide constantly.

Tankmates: They are boisterous, fast swimmers. Pair them with active fish of a similar size like Archerfish, Scats, and Colombian Shark Catfish. Avoid small fish, as they will get eaten.
