Tetra AlguMin is a fast-acting liquid anti-algae treatment designed for freshwater aquariums that targets algae metabolism using humic substances.

Product Overview

Active Form: Liquid formula for immediate release and optimal distribution

Target: All common types of freshwater algae

Compatibility: Safe for fish, plants, and microorganisms when used properly (avoid use with shrimps/invertebrates)

Water Clarity: Does not discolour or cloud the water.

Dosage and ApplicationShake the bottle well before use.

Control Dose: Add 5 ml per 10 litres of aquarium water in an area with good circulation.

Prevention Dose: Add 5 ml per 20 litres of aquarium water every 4 weeks.

Repeat: If stubborn outbreaks persist, repeat at half the dose every two weeks or after 3–4 weeks as needed.

Important Treatment Guidelines

Aeration: Ensure adequate aeration (such as an air pump) during treatment to maintain oxygen levels.

Filtration & UV: Turn off UV clarifiers and remove/avoid activated-carbon filtration during the treatment period.

Maintenance: Mechanically remove dead algae with a net to protect water quality, and refrain from water changes during active treatment.
